And before that, the big 12". I can't find any pics of 'em on GIS, but I've held one before (damn that sounds dirty).
The 3.5's frisbeed OK. 5.25's were great. 8"ers were amazing, and 12's were crazy.
My high school tech lab was on the backside of the building, with the athletic fields down the hill, and the track well beyond. The 3.5's might reach the athletic fields. 5.25's would. 8"s could get the far edge, and (wind allowing) the 12's would be found on the track.
